I have officially joined the Yakezie Challenge! The Yakezie is the web\’s largest personal finance and lifestyle blog network. After six months, I hope to fulfill the requirements needed to become a member of this wonderful network.
Requirements:
- Penetrate the top 200,000 websites according to Alexa rankings
- Write consistently 2 – 4 times per week for 6 months
- Selflessly promote other members of the network
Not only am I currently writing, but I\’m also learning how to manipulate WordPress and design the right theme for my blog. Once the design aspect has been completed and I\’m fully satisfied, I will be able to purely focus on content and increase the consistency of the posts. With that in mind, please share your thoughts on the design of the blog as well as the quality of the content.

Good luck – you can do it! I would say focus on content first. You have a good-enough looking blog. Once you get in a groove with writing 2-4 times a week, then focus on the layout and design. I’ve been blogging about 9 months and still playing with my design.
Thank you for the feedback – you’re absolutely right. I have a list of 25 or so topics that I can’t wait to write on. Now I just need to stop moving images 1 px at a time and get to writing.
