Have you ever needed to complete something and spent hours trying to do it unsuccessfully? Then when you finally take a break and stop trying so hard, ideas start flowing?
That happened to me last night. I knew I needed to finish my Thanksgiving song because I need to record and shoot it this weekend and have it done for Monday, but I just didn’t feel like working on it after trying so hard and failing to complete it all week. So I played some video games, lounged around, and basically did nothing all last night.
As I was relaxing last night, the verses were popping into my head left and right, and by the time I fell asleep I had the entire song finished (and a few levels of Little Big Planet). I will record the song this weekend and hopefully film it as well. It’s gonna be tough because the video editing software I bought from Amazon hasn’t come in yet, so I’m afraid I’ll have to do it with Windows Live Movie Maker. (bleh)
